But the game developers understandably didn't want to tread the dangerous waters of rape elements in story lines for fear they'd get jumped on if they didn't depict everything perfectly. That's contradictory to every rape drug doser / kidnapper in modern criminal history. The idea that Mr Jefferson abducted girls and took photos of them in compromising positions but never laid a finger on them is ludicrous. I'll give you an example of where I think this sort of silly self censoring and fear of controversy created a 'Disney-fied' story line in a game - and it's a game I love: Life is Strange. So movies shouldn't depict rape? Books? Or are they excused? Where do you draw the arbitrary line of what subject matter is suitable for a particular media?
